Baby K is now 22 months on and only June 4, while at daycare, he pee pee'd in the potty for the first time. I screamed when his teacher told me. I am so proud of my little guy. Next up to get him some more training pants and get him on the potty more at home. He's put on there 4 times a day at school so I need to do the same thing at home. He's definitely talking up a storm now and all kinds of fun. He's still not quite sleeping through the night and I'm not sure how to combat that one. I'm considering changing his bed back into the crib but he loves to climb stuff and I know for a fact he will climb out of that bed. I just know it. he's done it before.
Now that we are quickly approaching two I have finally gotten around to painting his bedroom in our new house. It's Carolina Blue but a little bit lighter. I'm going with a Toy Story theme for his bedroom so gone are the animals. :=( I can't believe my baby is growing up so fast! It makes me long for another one but I think I'll wait until I have the same last night as someone if you catch my drift.
We're gearing up for his dad's family reunion next month. I haven't been formally asked to go but I assume since my child will be there, I will be there. I'm sorry but I'm not comfortable with letting him go off somewhere. Nope. Not happening. I am excited that he gets to meet and see this other side of his family. Shoot, there are folks his dad probably doesn't know. LOL Either way, we'll be in Mississippi in July for that and back in Mississippi in November for Thanksgiving since we didn't go last year. All in all, things are starting to come together for us.
