Some of you read my blog and others don't but I just wanted to let you all know that I am NOT be returning to Mothering.com nor will I encourage anybody else I know to visit that site. One of my post was removed in regards to circumcision. Basically the topic was if whether or not you were going to circumcise your son. My response was this:
All I've known is c'rd so when I brought the issue up to my partner he is totally for it. I'm open to understanding both sides but I feel I might lean more towards going for it. I don't know. I think I need to pray on it some more.
To me, I see nothing wrong with this statement but apparently I violated some terms of agreement by saying that I am going to do it. Interesting, because every other post said that that person was not. So I'm violating the agreement but saying I am but I want to pray over it? WTF? I am truly pissed by this and very much turned off from this site. I have recommended it to numerous coworkers and plan to tell people to stay way from it. Until they get some real moderators that know what they are doing, I will not be back. To those I have built relationships with, I will continue to keep in touch via personal email. If not, well, it was nice while it lasted but I will not stand for this type of injustice.
Just a doggone shame all around. I really liked that message board. Thank you to that person that sent me a heads-up on my post being removed. I really appreciate that.
